Vanessa Joseph is a passionate servant leader dedicated to ensuring the needs of the community are met and that it has all the tools necessary to advance progressively.
Vanessa Joseph is a well-respected attorney who works for a notable nonprofit organization. She began her work in immigration and human rights as a law student during her tenure in two legal clinics where she was able to advocate on behalf of the immigrant community of South Florida. Today, Vanessa continues to provide legal services to vulnerable populations. In addition to representing low-income immigrants, Vanessa conducts information sessions for immigrant detainees to inform them of their rights and court processes. Her work at the detention centers has led to her servicing thousands of men, women and children. Whether it be self-help workshops, group or individual orientations, Vanessa’s impact on our immigrant population has been immeasurable.
In addition to being an attorney, Vanessa is a public relations and marketing professional who has worked extensively with artists, musicians, personalities and businesses. Her work in the public relations and marketing industry has led companies and organizations to increase brand awareness, receive favorable public perception, gain and maintain consumer loyalty.
As the daughter of Haitian immigrants who moved to the United States in the late 1980s and the sister to an older brother with physical and mental disabilities, her dedication to advocating on behalf of the community’s most vulnerable populations is unwavering. These are the driving forces of Vanessa as a professional, advocate and servant-leader.
Vanessa is a purposeful and passionate agent for change, in the beautiful city she calls home—North Miami.
